I have been using Sure White & Makari Milk with no problems. However, the most important thing is for you to really use a sunscreen. I know it may seem like it's not doing anything to you personally. But believe me, there is no point in trying to lighten only to tan everytime you go out without protection. It becomes a futile effort. You need to wear sunscreen SPF 50 or higher/or mized with your creams in order to get effective results ESPECIALLY in the summer. Hope this helped

Ahlam Hi sassibrown its very important that you always use sunscreen to make sure you maintain that lightness anyways if you wanna get 3 to 4 shades lighter you need to use a lotion that works very well i too wanna get 4-5 shades lighter and i decided to use pharmaclinix lightenex cream i hear great things about it and most ppl who use this lotion their skin doesnt get damage.

Hi Dimplecutie I heard makari gives you pimples and makes your skin very dark when you stop using it, did you have this problem? and do you use makari milk on your face?

Hey Ahlam,
I heard the same thing about the breakouts. This is why I only use it on my body. I use both Sure White and the Makari Milk as body lotions. To tell you the truth I actually like the texture and effect of the Sure White more. Plus it's cheaper. I mix the Sure White Lotion with 2 bottles of Sure White Serum and shake it up. A little goes a long way and I am still on my first bottle out of the 4 I ordered from Guesso.com.

When my Makari is done I don't think I'm going to reorder though. I'm going to stick with my Sure White concoction for the body.

The most important thing to keep our results (as you stated) is sunscreen.

Miss-2-Thousand-Nine Dimplecutie I wanted to use Sure white lotion mixed with the serum, but the problem I have is my knuckles, knee, and elbows are really dark (darker than the rest of my skin) would surewhite lotion mixed with the serum not only even tone my skin but also lighten my skin 5 shades and is this safe to use on the face? I am hoping to get lighten 5 shades before next Feb 2010 is this impossible? Thanks

SUPER1 We all know the gel works very good on the face , but can you use the gel forever on your face or does it stop working after a year ? And how is sure white body lotion on the body .. does it lighten the body well ? Its way cheaper then makari body milk .
June 18th, 2009 05:04 PM
sassiibrown Thanks ! I just got mine yesterday and the lotion smells realllli good ! ill post results when i notice them, but the ingredients in the lotion are sooo great. I plan on using the bleaching cream every other day cause of my sensitive skin and then gradually increasing to daily.. its also good it doesnt really have a smell and its not greasy or anything and i have oily skin which is great for me... so we'll see. So far so good :-)

Dela I might actually buy that sure white body lotion 2. I want to get 3-4 shades lighter. Its either that or that otentika brand. The makari beauty lotion didnt work on my body despite using 2 bottles but it helpd with my face however after I finished the first bottle, my face went back 2 how it was :(

Does anyone know a good lightening serum/oil that can be mixed with either lotion?

thanks

I think you should still mix the concotion (Sure White lotion with two bottles of sure white serum) for the all over body lightening. You could get a separate bottle of serum to apply directly to your trouble spots after lotioning up the body and allowing it to dry. This will give the trouble spots an extra boost. You may even keep it in your purse like one of my friends does and reapply the serum to the problem spots sometime during the day.

You actually sound like a good candidate for some type of body lightening scrubdown treatment too.

Biologica Spa (where I got my Glutathione pills) does Diamond Peels & Glycolic Peels for the entire body 90 minutes a session including armpits and private parts. The Diamond Peel is $350 and the Glycolic Peel is $250. If no spa does this in your area I recommend contacting a plastic surgeons office because they tend to provide day spa treatments these days.

Worst case scenario: If no one does this near you or you can't afford to do it right now, buy a good exfoliating soap like Diane Stadler Glutathione Soap (Amazon.com). Other good types of soap are Papaya Soap, Kojic acid soaps (be careful not to overuse or you will feel stinging or burning).

You can get your hands of tons of good soaps and brands at Guesso.com Whitening/Lightening/Bleaching Soaps

Also, invest in a good exfoliating bath sponge. Almost any beauty supply store can show you great ones. Some are natural fibers and some man-made.

As far as the face, I have never used Sure White on my face so I couldn't really give you a good answer. Hope this helps.

P.S. Don't forget Sunscreen it is very important. SPF 50 or higher.

beautee23 i use sure white gel on my face! I've never used the lotion or serum so i dont know which one of those would work on your face, but I compare the sure white gel with makari night cream. except when i stop using sure white a day or two, I dont get two shades darker than I originally started with! Not to mention its wayyy cheaper. The product junkie in me wants to try all the products DimpledCutie mentioned but I can't purchase anything else until I finish the products i haven't recieved yet! good luck! And if you use the surewhite line EVERY day between now and next year, i dont see why you wouldnt be 5 shades lighter even BEFORE february 2010!
June 19th, 2009 01:15 AM
SUPER1 but still it can stops working in februari 2010 en you can redarken .. dont want to spoil yur good mood but i would love to myself if you can use it forever or it stops working after a while .. plz advice

And maybe if u use it in moderation your skin wont get used to it?
June 21st, 2009 05:09 PM

Ok, thanks! So how long have u been using sure white? and which products from the line are you using? What kind of results is it giving you?
June 22nd, 2009 11:19 AM
carrib25 hi guys i read all the SW posts and just wanna say that sure white was one of the best facial lightening gels i used.

it worked great for me and was a nice texture, it lightened me very well (although I was light already from using fair & White) and was not drying, and didnt break me out. It maintained my already fair complexion.

the only thing is that it stopped working for me - probabaly cause the melalnin in my skin grew resistance to its ingredients

but if you havent used it before and are curious about using it - id say go ahead cause its a good lightner for the face

ninjabunny don't hop on any bandwagons, guys.

what works for many may not work for some and the last thing anyone wants is someone to get on here tryna say it broke them out badly

and what's REALLy funny to me is how something works for a person and all a sudden when it become sa big hit some people come out the closet and admit it worked for them. wish we coulda learned that before we had to dig up!!

Actually, I dont see the problem with this "bandwagon"
Its better than jumping on using high %HQ or mono or mysterious products from distant 3rd world countries.. and all the rest of them that you might not be able to recover from. It doesnt have those harsh chemicals.. I wouldnt try encourage use of anything harmful. Theres always a success and a failure with these things I guess, but so far i havent heard anything bad about this yet! And its working good for me! I really think its a good one cause i almost messed up my skin using 2% HQ and im scared to try it again so i decided to try it the natural way even if it mite take longer :-)
June 22nd, 2009 04:31 PM
ninjabunny oh i didn't mean to make it seem like you're tryna hurt anyone. i just don't want anyone complaining about how it didn't work for them or how it did something to them.

SUPER1 Anybody used sure white bodylotion , how were the results ?
June 24th, 2009 06:53 AM
Dela hey guys,
Ive heard good things about sure white plus the company seems respectable. The only negitive thing I heard about is that it takes time but hey i rather it take time and get the job done. The ingredients are gd and doesnt seem to have dangerous chemicals. I think I will try out the lotion and maybe mix it with bioclair oil or sure white serum. Anyhu I will keep u guyz posted once I start to use it :)
June 24th, 2009 10:17 AM
Isha I meant by the time you stop to use it and start another skin lightening cream, this latter won't work and may darken your skin.

I really believe that moderation and lightening slow will prevent this from happening. A girl said that her results stayed even after a month of stopping lightening just using the soaps and exfoliating (not from sure white, but a lightening agent nonetheless) because she used it in moderation, and lightened slow rather than fast. And if your lightening agent stops working, try another active ingredient, like I probably wont use kojic acid next time, i might use arbutin and then go back to kojic acid after that I think it will work. Im not a scientist or a dermatologist or anything but it think this way makes sense..

actually ninja ive said on numerous occassions that SW worked well for me
there has been so many sure white threads that
i feel like a parrot repeating my feedback!!!

so whats EVEN FUNNIER is that people dont even remeber the posts and threads and advice, comments etc that
they have read

We only ever talk about 5 different bleaching creams on this forum anyway for goodness sake:

[i]Sure White, Fair and White, Makari, Makari Day Cream, Makari Night Cream and Afternoon cream or whatever

so how can be people be comming out of the closet about using something we're always banging on about?????

and the WHOLE point about this forum is about jumping on the bandwagon if you so choose.

whats the point of sharing your expirences if people dont go out and use what others already have had good lightening results with???
